Singapore secured a golden hat-trick in the team events at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Grand Prix in Jakarta.

Tianrui Gai, Zen Joi Lionel Wong and Marat Lleyton Veloso bagged the first of the country's triumphs after defeating Md Rabbi Hasan Munna, Mohamad Ali and Shovon Chowdhury of Bangladesh in the men's team air rifle.

It was a closely fought battle which was won in the last round by Singapore 16-14.

Bangladesh outscored their opponents in both of the prior qualifying rounds by scores of 930.0 to 929.4 points and 622.8 to 621.0 but could not better them when it mattered the most.

Thailand's Napis Tortungpanich, Thongphaphum Vongsukdee and David Toothaweesap breezed past Fathur Gustafian, Davin Rosyiid Wibowo and Ali Nurrahman of Indonesia 16-8 to take the bronze medal.

Adele Tan, who competed at Tokyo 2020, led a Singaporean squad consisting of Natanya Tan and Fernal Tan to glory in the women's air rifle team gold medal match.

The team narrowly beat Indonesians Audrey Dhiyaanisa, Monica Daryanti and Khairunnisa Salsabela 18-16.

Bangladesh were given the bronze medal as the only other team in the competition.

Singapore's final gold medal of the day came courtesy of Shun Xie Teo, Xiu Hong The and Amanda Sao Keng Mak as they beat Thailand 16-14 in the women's air pistol team event.

Thailand was represented by Chidchanok Hirunphoem, Tanyaporn Prucksakorn and Natsara Champalat.

Hosts Arista Perdana Putri, Lily Sulidtyadewi and Maria Bonay of Indonesia won bronze against Bangladesh with a 16-6 victory.

Muhamad Prabowa, Wira Sukmana and Deny Pratama then won Indonesia's third gold medal of the event with a 16-6 triumph against Malaysia's Guanjie Johnathan Wong, Wan Muhamad Wan Mustaza and Abdul Abd Malek.

The mixed team air pistol crown went to Natsara Champalat and Tatsura Banphaveerachon as they crushed Aristo Darmoyo and Sukmana of Indonesia 16-8.

Indonesia remain at the top of the table with three golds, five silvers and one bronze medal while Singapore follow close behind on three golds, two silvers and five bronzes.
