TSV Dennach emerged victorious from an all-German final of the Women's Fistball European Champions Cup as they beat hosts TSV Calw to claim the title.

Led by captain Sonja Pfrommer, TSV Dennach were three sets up, but had to fend off a comeback to lift the trophy.

Pfrommer, Denise Zeiher, Fenja Stallecker, Laura Schinko and Anna-Lisa Aldinger won 15-13, 11-9, 11-9, 9-11, 11-13, 11-5.

Sandra Janot, captain of TSV Calw, got her team back into contention alongside Leonie Pfrommer, Henriette Schell, Laura Flörchinger and Laura Glauner, having pulled it back to 3-2 before losing the crucial sixth set.

SVD Diepoldsau-Schmitter from Switzerland finished third after beating Austrian side ASKÖ Seekirchen 4-2.

The score finished 11-13, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 11-7, 11-4, giving Mirjam Schlattinger, Alessia Benz, Tanja Bognar, Lena Wahl and Svenja Sutter the victory.

TSV Calw defeated SVD Diepoldsau-Schmitter in the semi-finals 4-2, while TSV Dennach in the final won 4-1 against ASKÖ Seekirchen in the final four.
