Britain's two-time 100 metres Paralympic gold medallist Jonnie Peacock and Canada's seven-time Paralympic swimming champion Stephanie Dixon are among the speakers at the fifth session of the VISTA 2021 Conference.

VISTA 2021 features six sessions in November and December, all held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to share information and expertise across the Paralympic Movement,

The event exists, it is claimed, to promote "cross-disciplinary interaction between sport scientists, athletes, coaches, administrators and the media."

The fifth session is titled "What does Paralympic Ethics & Integrity mean to me?" and features a discussion between Peacock, Dixon, Indian Paralympian Ekta Bhyan and Ghanaian Paralympian Raphael Botsyo, who will provide the athletes' perspective on the topic.

The session will cover safety, global balance, and fairness and has three goals: to "offer a summary of the data from athletes' vantage point, introduce their creative ideas for solutions, and give us a sense of how scientific work can improve to more directly influence athletes' lives."

It will be chaired by Yetsa Tuakli-Wosornu, assistant professor at Yale School of Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Previous sessions have been titled "Evidence-based Classification", "Health and Medicine", "Technology in Paralympic Sport", and "Socio-Cultural Legacy".

The sixth and final session is due to take place on December 16 and is titled "Paralympic Performance".
