Americans dominated the Pan American Cyclo-Cross Championships, winning both the men's and women's events in Garland in the United States today.

Raylyn Nuss claimed victory in the women's elite race in a time of 52min 44sec.

Canada's Ruby West finished second, 43sec off the pace, before United States riders rounded out the remaining top-13 places.

Caitlin Bernstein rounded out the podium in a time of 53:33.

In the men's elite race, America completed the top-10 positions.

Eric Brunner claimed the victory in a time of 1 hour 1min 4sec, 17 seconds of Curtis White in second.

Kerry Werner stepped on the podium in third, a further 34 seconds off the pace.

Scott Funston, also of the US, won the men's under-23 race in 47:32, while Madigan Munro completed an American quartet of triumphs in the women's under-23, powering home in 45:08.
