Energy Standard will be aiming to defend their International Swimming League title in The Netherlands as they face off with the Cali Condors, London Roar and LA Current.

Standard will be led by Belarus' Ilya Shymanovich, who has lowered his short-course 100 metres breaststroke world record twice already this season and matched his 50m world record at the European Short Course Championships.

He is the favourite to take major points in the breaststroke competition, and will also be a major part of a formidable Standard relay team.

Sweden's Sarah Sjöström has also been in imperious form in the women's freestyle events and forms a dangerous one-two with Shymanovich.

Relay events count for double points, meaning Standard are the favourites to defend their title - and win their third in total.

The Condors - the most likely challengers to the Stanard - welcome America's Caeleb Dressel back into the fold.

He will face Australia's Kyle Chalmers of London Roar in the 50 and 100m freestyle disciplines in one of the greatest anticipated races of the event.

Swims are scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday (December 4), hosted at the National Swimming Center in Eindhoven.
