FIFA has appointed Normalisation Committees to oversee the running of football in Chad and Guinea.

The Chadian Football Association (FTFA) had been suspended due to Government interference but this sanction was lifted last month after the authorities scaled back their involvement.

A joint visit to the country by FIFA and the Confederation of African Football determined that local football bodies had an "inability" to hold elections, however.

The Normalisation Committee will now arrange the ballots at the FTFA.

Chad were thrown out of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations because of the Government interference.

The suspension was lifted when FIFA confirmed that President Moctar Mahamoud was back in control of the organisation's premises in N'Djamena.

The mandate of the Committee will expire on November 15 next year.

In Guinea, FIFA said a "series of irregularities" had been found during the electoral process at the Guinean Football Association (FGF).

The task of the Normalisation Committee will be to ensure that transparent and fair elections can be held.

FIFA claimed it work with the FGF will be completed no later than June 30.
