There were no upsets on the second day of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Canary Wharf Classic in London, as all four seeds in action progressed to the quarter-finals.

The safest of these was Egyptian number six seed Mostafa Asal who cruised past England's Adrian Waller in just 22 minutes.

He dropped only five points in an 11-1, 11-4 win.

He takes on his compatriot and third seed Tarek Momen in the last eight, who needed a third set to stop Baptiste Masotti of France 11-4, 9-11, 11-1.

Top seed Egyptian Ali Farag was through in fairly straightforward fashion by beating Iker Pajares Bernabeu of Spain in 25 minutes, 11-7, 11-2.

His next opponent is seventh seed Colombian Miguel Rodriguez, who came from a set down to beat feisty Englishman Declan James 10-12, 11-5, 11-8.

The other four second-round ties are to be played tomorrow, with Peruvian fourth seed Diego Elias facing England's George Parker.

French eighth seed Gregoire Marche will play England's James Willstrop, second seed Paul Coll of New Zealand takes on Egypt's Youssef Soliman and Welsh fifth seed Joel Makin is in action against India's Saurav Ghosal.
