Sagen Maddalena of the United States won individual and team gold on the final day of the International Shooting Sport Federation President’s Cup in Wroclaw, Poland.

Individual titles were up for grabs in the 25 metres pistol and 50 metres rifle three positions, while team titles were decided in the mixed 25 metres rapid fire pistol and mixed 50 metres rifle three positions.

The women’s 50 metres rifle three positions category saw an all-American encounter for gold, as Maddalena won her first title of the day by beating compatriot Mary Carolynn Tucker.

In the bronze medal match, Jeanette Hegg Duestad of Norway overcame Germany’s Jolyn Beer.

That was followed by the mixed team 50 metres rifle three positions, with shooters from different nationalities paired up.

Maddalena claimed a second gold of the day alongside Istvan Peni of Hungary, who beat Yury Shcherbatsevich of Belarus, competing alongside Beer.

In the battle for bronze, Duestad and Sergey Kamenskiy of Russia overcame Serhiy Kulish of Ukraine and Tucker.  

Earlier in the day the men’s 50 metres rifle three positions gold went to Kulish, who defeated Kamenskiy, who claimed the silver.

In the battle for bronze, Miran Maricic of Croatia was victorious as he defeated Jon-Hermann Hegg of Norway.

The women’s 25 metres pistol category saw Germany’s Doreen Vennekamp win gold with a score of 33.

India’s Rahi Sarnobat claimed silver with 31 while France’s Mathilde Lamolle earned bronze with a score of 27.

In the men’s 25 metres rapid fire pistol event, Li Yuehong of China earned gold with a score of 36.

France’s Jean Quiquampoix claimed silver with a score of 34, while his compatriot Clement Bessaguet took bronze with a score of 26.

In the mixed team 25 metres rapid fire pistol event, shooters from different nationalities again competed in pairs.

In the gold medal match, Manu Bhaker of India and Ozgur Varlik of Turkey beat Jiaruixuan Xiao of China and Estonia’s Peeter Olesk.

The battle for bronze saw Vennekamp and Bessaguet team up to defeat Minjung Kim of South Korea and Oliver Geis of Germany.
