The United States, Canada, Serbia and Argentina all made it two wins from two at the International Basketball Federation Under-19 World Cup, while Spain and Turkey both enjoyed dramatic wins.

In Group C in Latvia's capital Riga, Spain overcame France in overtime - a sweet response for a side that lost by a single point yesterday.

Ruben Dominguez led Spain with 14 points, and his bucket with 3.4 seconds remaining in overtime proved the winning shot.

Argentina beat South Korea 112-74 in the group's other match, with six players reaching double figures for points.

Also in Riga, Caleb Furst, Kenneth Lofton and Jaden Ivey scored 14 points each as the US beat Mali 100-52 and took charge of Group D.

Turkey beat Australia 64-62 in the other Group D match.

Tibet Gorener's three points in the closing 20 seconds - first a jumper and then a basket from the free-throw line - secured the win.

Over in Daugavpils, hosts Latvia picked up a first win, seeing off Iran 58-48, and Serbia beat Puerto Rico by twice that margin - 84-64 - to stay top of Group B.

Canada beat Japan 100-75 in Group A to stay at its summit, and Lithuania defeated Senegal 78-73.

There will be a rest day tomorrow and all 16 teams will reach the knockout rounds, with the group stage used to determine seeding.
