Slovakia claimed the trap team men’s title at the European Shooting Championships in Osijek, Croatia.

Their trio of Erik Varga, Marian Kovacocy and Adrian Drobny earned a 6-2 win in the gold medal match against an Italian team that had topped qualifying with 505 points, four more than they had totalled.

Croatia’s Anton Glasnovic, Giovanni Cernogoraz and Josip Glsnovic won the bronze medal match 7-3 against the Czech Republic’s Jan Borkovec, Vladimir Stepan and Jiri Liptak.

The women’s trap team title went to Russia, 6-0 winners over Italy in the gold medal match.

The bronze medal match was won by France with a 6-2 scoreline against Finland.

Gold in the 300m rifle 3 positions men's team event went to Switzerland’s trio of Jan Lochbihler, Gilles Vincent Dufaux and Sandro Greuter.

They totalled 46 to win gold by a margin of eight shots over the Austrian trio of Gernot Rumpler, Andreas Thum and Bernhard Pickl.

The bronze medal match was won by Slovenia’s Robert Markoja, Rajmond Debevec and Erik Kandare, who earned a 52-38 scoreline against Finland’s Juho Kurki, Juho Autio and Aleksi Leppa.

The 25m rapid fire pistol men's gold went to France’s Jean Quiquampoix, who finished three ahead of Russia’s Leonid Ekimov after scoring a maximum five on his final round.

Bronze went to the winner’s compatriot, Clement Bessaguet, ahead of Tommaso Chelli of Italy.

Poland won gold in the 300m rifle 3 positions women's team event, with the trio of Karolina Kowalczyk, Paula Wronska and Sylwia Bogacka scoring 46 in the gold medal match to defeat the Swiss team of Silvia Guignard Schnyder, Muriel Zueger and Anja Senti by two.
