In the men's recurve, Ellison booked his place in the final four with a 6-4 set victory over Mexico's Luis Alvarez.

He now plays Yun Sanchez of Spain, following his 6-4 win over Moldova's Dan Olaru.

Maximillian Weckmüller of Germany came from behind to defeat Erdem Tsydypov of Russia in an extra set, winning 6-5, and now plays US Virgin Islands' Nicholas D'Amour who was taken to the brink by Italy's Mauro Nespoli, before prevailing 6-5.

In the men's compound, world number two Schloesser won 148-147 against Turkey's Evren Cagiran, and he will now play Mathias Fullerton of Denmark, who defeated France's Jean Philippe Boulch 147-146.

Italy's Federico Pagnoni won by three points against Denmark's Martin Damsbo 149-146, and he now faces France's Adrien Gontier who won 147-142 against Italy's Marco Bruno.

Tomorrow the final four in the women's compound and recurve will be determined as well as the finalists in the compound and recurve mixed teams.
