All of the International Federation of Teqball's (FITEQ) web content has been made available in French.

Following the professional translation of the FITEQ website, the world governing body will also be able to respond to all automatic communication from the teqball family in French.

"French is an official language of the Olympic Movement and there is a growing network of National Teqball Federations and players in French speaking countries," FITEQ said in a statement.

"FITEQ is aiming to support the continued growth of teqball in these, and other, French-speaking countries by building awareness of the sport through the publication of content in French."

FITEQ added: "The French language FITEQ website will feature all news stories, sport services contents, event details, CSR updates and general information in French.

"Following the launch of the website, FITEQ is also planning to develop the official FITEQ app to enable users to access all content in French."

Following the launch of the French language website, FITEQ General Secretary Marius Vizer Jr said: "The global French speaking community is a very important part of the teqball family and our sport's history.

"We hosted the second Teqball World Championships in Reims, France three years ago and many of the sport's rising stars are from countries where French is the first language.

"As an official language of the Olympic Movement, and with so many key stakeholders - players, coaches, referees, National Federation leaders - from French-speaking countries, it is integral to our global development that we serve the teqball family in this way."
