Bulgaria’s Boryana Kaleyn topped the all-around qualification standings at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia.

The 20-year-old, who won a team silver medal at the 2018 World Championships in the Bulgarian capital, recorded a score of 26.250 points in the ball event.

Kaelyn’s effort was enough to top the standings in the discipline ahead of Israel’s Linoy Ashram, who finished second on 25.550.

Belarus’ Alina Harnasko placed third in the standings on 25.250.

Hoop qualification saw Ashram lead the way, with an execution score of 8.500 on her 17.300-difficulty routine.

Ashram’s score of 25.800 saw her comfortably lead the standings ahead of Anastasiia Salos of Belarus, who was second on 25.500.

Kaleyn finished third in qualifying on 25.100.

The top eight gymnasts in qualifying will compete in the individual finals.

The combined scores saw Kaelyn top the standings, with the Bulgarian star level with Ashram on 51.350 points overall.

Harnasko lies third on 49.900.
