The International Bowling Federation (IBF) has signed a nine-year deal with QubicaAMF as its exclusive global bowling equipment partner.

QubicaAMF, the largest bowling products company in the world, will be IBF's supplier through to 2030.

Both parties first entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in March last year to form a new partnership.

Part of the new agreement will see both organisations focus on sustainability and implementing inclusion strategies as an international sport.

Qubica AMF will act as the supplier and partner for all of IBF's elite events including at the Birmingham 2022 World Games in the United States and the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games in Chile.

The company are also able to adapt to temporary infrastructure demands at multi-sport events, meaning permanent bowling centres are not required at major Games.

"Without the support of long-term partners such as QubicaAMF, it would simply not be possible for the IBF to continue our work to develop bowling worldwide," said IBF chief executive Andrew Oram.

"QubicaAMF are now more than ever an integral part of the bowling journey, quite literally featured at the heart of the action at every World Cup for the past 55 years and continuing now through to 2030.

"We are delighted that this long-term strategic partnership will continue and we are looking forward to writing new chapters of bowling history together."

QubicaAMF's new EDGE String technology allows for bowling to be more sustainable for the environment by utilising temporary bowling facilities.

"We are honoured and humbled at the opportunity of being the exclusive global bowling equipment partner for IBF," said QubicaAMF chief executive Emanuele Govoni.

"Over the past 18 months we have worked closely with the IBF and it has been incredible to see their vision to grow and promote the sport begin to come to life.

"We are excited to see what the next decade brings and to be able to provide our new technologies to IBF, to support their strategic initiatives and to continue to take bowling to the next level globally."
