The United States beat Brazil 2-0 in Orlando to put one hand on the SheBelieves Cup, while Canada overcame Argentina in dramatic circumstances.

Christen Press opened the scoring for the US, cutting in from the left and curling an effort into the far corner in the 11th minute.

Megan Rapinoe made sure of the result two minutes from time when she converted a cross to score her fifth SheBelieves Cup goal and and tie for the all-time lead.

The result means the world champions have gone 52 games unbeaten on home soil, and only a freak set of results can stop them winning the tournament.

They have also kept back-to-back clean sheets to open their SheBelieves Cup defence.

Canada beat Argentina 1-0 in the later game at the same venue, Exploria Stadium, thanks to Sarah Stratigakis' scrappy but all-important 92nd-minute goal.

With one round of games left the US have six points and the best goal difference, Brazil and Canada three points each, and Argentina are pointless.

The US face Argentina on Wednesday (February 24), after Canada and Brazil clash.
