Russia won the team event by 40 points ahead of Ukraine although the gold medallists were spread on the final day of female competition, coming from Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Germany.

In the 57kg category gold went to Anastasia Nichita of Moldova who beat Anshu Anshu of India 5-1.

European champion Nichita scored an exposure and a takedown to seal the win in the second period.

Bronze medals went to Veronika Chumikova of Russia and Mehlika Ozturk of Turkey.

The 59kg category was won by Svetlana Lipatova of Russia, who defeated Mariana Cherdivara Esanu of Moldova 2-1.

A narrow contest was settled by points courtesy of the activity clock with Lipatova edging to the win.

Bronzes went to Kateryna Zelenykh of Ukraine and Magdalena Glodek of Poland.

In the 65kg category gold went to Tetiana Rizhko of Ukraine who beat Irina Ringaci of Moldova 14-4.

Rizhko earned a technical superiority win thanks to an impressive second quarter featuring multiple takedowns.

The two bronze medallists were Elis Manolova of Azerbaijan and Mimi Hristova of Bulgaria.

In the 68kg category gold went to Kyrgyzstan's Meerim Zhumanazarova who beat Adela Hanzlickova 8-2.

Junior world silver medallist Zhumanazarova started slowly but won comfortably thanks to three scoring takedowns.

Bronzes went to Khanum Velieva of Russia and Alina Berezhina Stadnik Makhynia.

The final category of the competition was the 76kg with gold going to Aline Rotter Focken of Germany who beat Yasemin Adar of Turkey by fall 3-0.

Rotter Focken, the 2014 world champion, completed the fall in the second period of the contest after defending a double leg shot by Adar.

Bronze medals went to Vasilisa Marzaliuk of Belarus and Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan.

Russia finished the team competition with 155 points with Ukraine in second on 115 just ahead of Turkey on 113.

Completing the team standings were Germany on 108 and Moldova on 87.

The UWW Individual World Cup is taking place in lieu of the World Championships, which the Serbian capital was due to host before they were called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Action also took place in the men's freestyle semi-finals, which confirmed the line-ups for tomorrow's finals in the men's 57kg, 70kg, 74kg, 92kg and 125kg.

Zavar Uguev of Russia will face Arsen Harutyunyan of Armenia in the 57kg category, Magomedmurad Gazhiev of Poland will face Haydar Yavuz of Turkey in the 70kg category, Razambek Zhamalov of Russia will take on Frank Chamizo Marquez of Italy in the 74kg category, Alikhan Zhabrailov of Russia will face Georgii Rubaev of Moldova in the 92kg category and Robert Baran of Poland will take on Shamil Sharipov of Russia.
