The International Judo Federation (IJF) has launched the JudoFit Kids Golden League for young people to participate in during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The virtual competition has been created for fans of judo under the age of 14, who will be able to take part in a competition despite the ongoing global health crisis.

After participants have signed up on the IJF website, they will receive two new challenges every Thursday.

They can then record a performance of each challenge on a phone and submit the video.

Participants are able to win digital golden trophies and personalised golden cards.

In total, there are 15 trophies and 15 cards to collect.

At the end of the competition, a random draw will be made from a pot of the competitors who collected all of the trophies and cards.

The winners will receive bonus prizes.

The Golden League is an individual competition but participants can also help their country top the leaderboard.
