Hockey_indoorNovember 6 - Hockey's fast-paced, high-scoring National Indoor Championships have been re-branded Super Sixes for 2011.


The action-packed six-a-side version of the game, which features lightning quick 20-minute halves, will also have a new home in London.

Wembley Arena will play host to the Super Sixes, the England Hockey Board has revealed.

The new spectator-friendly format will feature four thrilling matches contested by top English clubs which could boast some of the country's Olympic hockey stars.

First up on January 30, 2011, is the men's semi-finals, where the top four sides from the Indoor England Hockey League will compete for a place in the Super Sixes final later in the day.

Hot on the heels of the semis comes the first of the grand finals - the women's Super Sixes final – before the last match of the day, the men's title decider.

With the chance to meet top players and family entertainment throughout the day the England Hockey Board hopes the 2011 Super Sixes will prove to be a fun, affordable, action packed day out.
