Lee Mi-rim of South Korea is aiming for a second major title at the Women's Professional Golf Association (PGA) Championship which starts in Pennsylvania tomorrow.

The 29-year-old South Korean earned her debut major title at the ANA Inspiration last month, winning a three-way play-off at Mission Hills Country Club in California.

She revealed she had been working hard in preparation for the Women's PGA Championship, which is being held at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square from tomorrow until Sunday (October 11).

"There are some things that I'm working on, and I'm still continuing to work on them, so I'll just keep those in mind as I play," she said.

"I've been working hard enough where a lot has improved, particularly my long game and my downswing.

"I'm still trying to work on the follow-through."

Lee will be challenged by American Nelly Korda, who she defeated in the ANA Inspiration play-off.

Korda is the current world number two but has not won on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour since November 2019.

The field also includes Australian defending champion Hannah Green and other former winners, including American's Danielle Kang, Canada's Brooke Henderson and Park Sung-hyun of South Korea.

Competition was due to take place in June but was postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is the third major championship to take place during this year's LPGA Tour.
