Cerebral Palsy Sport launched its second virtual challenge series ©CP Sport

Cerebral Palsy (CP Sport) celebrated World Cerebral Palsy Day by launching its second virtual challenge series.

Due to the implications of COVID-19 on disabled people and their families, the virtual challenge series was developed by CP Sport to provide a virtual but social event to encourage physical activity close to or at home.

The first event, entitled "Distance", ran from August 15 to September 15.

Challenge two, launched today, encourages participants to set their own targets based on the theme of time.

They might set a target of how far they travel in a set amount of time over the month, for example.

Throughout the virtual challenge series, entrants are given access to exclusive interactive workshops with expert coaches and presenters, ongoing support from CP Sport, and can be part of a virtual social community.

On completion of each challenge participants receive certificates, medals and t-shirts.

The second challenge is scheduled to run until November 15.

Challenge three, called "Numbers" will then be held from December 15 to January 15.

CP Sport is the United Kingdom’s leading national disability sports organisation and helps people with cerebral palsy reach their sporting potential.
