Women's top seed Nour El Sherbini of Egypt won all three matches as her group campaign concluded at the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour Finals in Cairo.

In one of two matches played in the third round of games today, El Sherbini breezed through her final Group A match against England's Sarah-Jane Perry as she triumphed 11-7 12-10 in 24 minutes, maintaining her unbeaten record at the tournament.

In women's Group B, both matches in the second round of games were played today with Hania El Hammamy putting herself in pole position to qualify from the group after beating seventh seed Amanda Sobhy of the United States 12-10 11-8.

The fifth seed from Egypt now has two wins from her first two matches in the group.

The other match in the group saw fourth seed Camille Serme of France, defeat Egyptian second seed Nour El Tayeb 11-8 11-5.

Serme and El Tayeb now have one win and one loss each from their opening two games, while Sobhy has lost both her encounters so far.

In men's Group A, the opening match in the third round of games saw top seed Ali Farag of Egypt move to the top of that group after a dramatic 14-16 11-5 11-3 win over Peru's Diego Elias, the sixth seed, in exactly an hour.

In men's Group B, both matches in the second round of games were played today with Marwan ElShorbagy, the fifth seed from Egypt, moving to the top of that group as he made it two wins from two matches with an 11-8 11-6 win over seventh seed Joel Makin of Wales.

In the other match in the group Paul Coll, the New Zealander who is seeded third, defeated second seed Tarek Momen of Egypt 11-9 11-8.

Coll and Makin both have one win and one loss, while Momen has lost both of his matches so far.

All remaining matches in the third round of group play are scheduled to take place at the Mall of Arabia tomorrow, which will mark the conclusion of the round-robin phase of the competition.

Throughout the group stages, players are earning four points for a straight games win, while a 2-1 win earns them three points.

A 2-1 loss sees a player secure one point, with nothing awarded for a straight games loss.

If two players are tied on points after tomorrow's round-robin stage, then the player with the better head-to-head record will take the higher spot in the group.

Should three players be tied on the same number of points, then the player with the highest percentage of points won will take the top spot out of the three in that group.

The winner of Group A will meet the Group B runner-up in the semi-finals and vice versa when the knockout stages get underway on Friday (October 2).
