The International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) has signed a content collaboration agreement with the Olympic Channel.

The deal between the FITEQ and the International Olympic Committee-owned channel will see teqball content shown on the global media platform.

FITEQ sport director Matthew Curtain said the agreement would help teqball reach new audiences across the world.

Curtain, the former director of sport and international federations at the Commonwealth Games Federation, said the FITEQ was "honoured" to work with the channel.

"We share many of the same values as the Olympic Channel, from a focus on digital growth to a desire to constantly innovate," he said.

"Teqball continues to make great strides all over the world, particularly in terms of online fan engagement.

"Working together with the Olympic Channel will help us capitalise on the growing appetite for teqball content, in addition to helping us find new fans for our sport."

Teqball's worldwide governing body is the 95th International Federation to have reached an agreement with the Olympic Channel.

"We are excited to welcome teqball to the Olympic Channel’s family of federation partners,” said Olympic Channel general manager Mark Parkman.

"Our platform provides promotion for all sports and athletes within the Olympic Movement, and we look forward to working together to help grow their reach, engagement and audiences worldwide."
