The Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE) has extended a partnership with Podoactiva, a firm specialising in podiatry and biomechanics.
As part of the deal, Podoactiva will support Spanish athletes at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympics.
The coronavirus pandemic caused the postponement of the Tokyo Games until 2021.
As well as being the official podiatry and biomechanics supplier of the CPE, Spanish athletes are able to call on the cutting-edge services of the company in areas beneficial to their sporting endeavors such as customised insoles.
Podoactiva's biotechnology wing also manufactures facemasks and splints, among other things.
Miguel Carballeda, CPE President, and Víctor Alfaro , general director of Podoactiva, both attended a ceremony to mark the renewal.
"Making available to our athletes the best services and professionals is an objective and an obligation for us," Carballeda said.
"Collaboration with Podoactiva has been fruitful from the outset and we hope to continue working together."
Alfaro added that the Huesca-based company feels "part of the family of the Spanish Paralympic sport and even more so now, in these difficult times for everyone.
"We want to add our grain of sand to enjoy successful Paralympic Games."
