G4S_logoJuly 21 – G4S Jordan the leading provider of security solutions in Jordan, have announced their support for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Powerlifting Qualifying Championship for London 2012 which are currently underway in the country.


As well as supporting the event, the company will also continue their endorsement of its IPC powerlifting world champion Omar Qaradeh, who is competing at the event, for the fifth consecutive year.

Mohammad Al Ali, G4S Jordan's managing director, said: "We are proud to be supporting the Jordanian team by providing them with uniform for this championship.

"G4S Jordan has established a long term relationship with Omar in specific as we have been supporting him for five years.

"We truly cannot express how proud we are of the fact that a Jordanian national has not only won the gold medal for the Istiklal International Championship and Asian Paralympics Championships in 2010 to name a few, but has also broken world records in his category of 48 kilogrammes during the Fazza International Championship and the International Weightlifting Championship last year."

G4S will be the official security service provider for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

It will deliver services such as cash collections, risk management consultancy, vehicle and boat patrols, access control, as well as searching and screening during the Games.
