The International Showdown Tournament in the Latvian city of Liepāja has been postponed until 2021. 

Competition was due to take place from July 8 to 12.

Due to complications emerging from the coronavirus pandemic, the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) has decided to hold the event from July 13 to 18 2021 instead.

Details of the Showdown European Top Twelve 2021 have also been revealed.

The French Showdown Union will organise the tournament, scheduling it from October 28 to 31 2021 in the city of Sainte-Maxime. 

The IBSA Showdown Committee has recently asked for feedback on the current rules from all those involved in the sport, with the sommittee's chairman, Massimo Sanapo, encouraging people to participate.

Suggestions are set to be considered between October and December of this year before the new rule book is changed on October 1 in 2021, lasting until 2025.
