The International Testing Agency (ITA) held a webinar entitled "The anti-doping landscape and athlete perspective."

The webinar was the first in a series which will aim to continue to support athletes and personnel when it is not possible to do so face-to-face, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As a contribution to the overall sports community, the first webinar titled was publicly accessible.

It aimed to shed light on the complex anti-doping system, as well as provide information on the key actors in the process.

Participants also had the chance to ask relevant questions.

ITA director general Benjamin Cohen, Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations chair and Anti Doping Denmark chief executive Michael Ask and Canada's Olympic weightlifting champion Christine Girard were the speakers on the webinar.

More than 650 people from around the world participated in the event, with ITA claiming they received positive feedback.
