The International Skating Union (ISU) has added six new courses to its online coaching series "Keep Training!"

Areas such as stretching, fitness, strength, balance and street jazz dancing will be covered by athletes, coaches and choreographers from ISU figure skating centres of excellence.

Five of the six sessions announced will be broadcast live, beginning with a stretching lesson from Jean-Luc duChatellier tomorrow.

On Thursday (April 7), two world champions and two America champions from Detroit Skating Club will lead a fitness and balance session.

They are Japan's Yuka Sato - ladies singles world champion in 2004 - and Canada's four-time men's singles world champion in Kurt Browning.

Americans Jeremy Abbott, who won a team bronze medal at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, and Alissa Czisny will also lead the session.

Swiss two-time world champion Stéphane Lambiel - who won an Olympic silver medal at Turin 2006 - will lead a strength session on Saturday (April 9).

All of the sessions will be broadcast on the ISU's YouTube channel, with a full schedule available here.

The series was launched last month to connect with fans starved of content during the coronavirus pandemic, which has brought the ISU calendar to a halt.
