Zambia rose up six places in the FIFA women's world rankings after qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The Zambian side are the biggest climbers in the latest update, moving up to 100th place.

Earlier this month, they overcame Cameroon in a two-legged clash to book an Olympic place for the first time.

They will have to wait a little longer to play at the Games, however, after Tokyo 2020 was postponed until no later than the summer of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A number of other teams have also moved up the rankings, with France rising one place to third and Brazil up one place to eighth.

North Korea also moved up by one place to 10th.

South Korea rose two places to reach 18th, while Slovenia and Jamaica have both improved by one place to 49th and 50th respectively.

The United States, reigning world champions, keep their grasp on top spot following victory at the SheBelieves Cup.

Second-place Germany have narrowed the gap after gaining the Algarve Cup title and 12 ranking points this month.

The next FIFA women's world rankings will be published in June 2020, but may remain unchanged due to the current suspension of sport in a large number of countries.
