The two best players in men's squash are set to meet in the final of the St James' Place Canary Wharf Classic after winning their semi-finals in London.

World numbers one and two, Egypt's Mohamed ElShorbagy and Ali Farag, advanced from their matches on the penultimate day relatively unscathed to set up a showdown between the two men who have occupied the number one spot between over the past two years.

In ElShorbagy's match, he struggled to shake third seed Tarek Momen at first and lost the first set before going on to win the next three, winning the match 4-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-6.

Despite being the top player in the world, ElShorbagy has yet to win in straight games in the tournament, but looked at his best against Momen, overcoming the opponent who knocked him out last year.

Frag's win never looked in doubt as he defeated ElShorbagy's younger brother Marwan in three quick sets.

In just 39 minutes, he won 11-3, 11-4, 11-4.

This tournament is a Professional Squash Association World Tour Gold event.
