The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus (NOC RB) has released a virtual sticker pack through online messaging platform Viber.

It comes after both parties struck a partnership to inform sports fans about the governing body's work and the preparation for major competitions.

A key part of the stickers, which can be sent as messages between Viber users, is the stork mascot used by the NOC RB.

"The release of the Team BY sticker pack is a logical continuation of the cooperation we started with Viber and the development of the brand of the national Olympic team of Belarus," said NOC RB head of marketing Vitaly Ostrovsky.

"We hope that our mascot will appeal to users and they will actively use stickers in their daily communication in the messenger and support our team."

Ostrovsky added that fans are also being encouraged to use the hashtag #HanarusBY.

"This broadcasts support for the team and makes us proud of the successes and achievements of our athletes," he said
