Stewart Anderson of Scotland is set to defend his title at the World Indoor Bowls Championships in Norfolk, which begin tomorrow.

The 34-year-old has triumphed twice in the world singles competition at Potters Leisure Resort in the English county, topping the podium in 2013 and at last year's event.

He also earned gold alongside compatriot Darren Burnett in the men's pairs event in 2016.

Anderson is back at the same venue this year to try his luck once again, as action begins tomorrow with the preliminary pairs competition.

The preliminary round in the singles competition begins on Sunday (January 12), while the mixed pairs starts on January 17 and the women's contest commences on January 18.
