Sweden have retained their status as the world number one ranked women's floorball team.

The Swedish side occupy top spot in the world rankings, published by the International Floorball Federation (IFF) following the conclusion of its Women's World Championships.

Sweden secured a seventh successive world title with a 3-2 victory over Switzerland in the final of this year's tournament in Neuchâtel.

Switzerland have moved up one place to second on the world rankings after claiming silver.

They have switched places with Finland, who earned bronze at the World Championships after beating the Czech Republic 5-4.

Poland and Slovakia have also risen by one spot, to fifth and sixth, respectively, while Latvia drop two places to seventh.

Malaysia are the biggest movers having climbed six places to 20th and Estonia are up from 16th to 11th.

The final standings from 2019 are added to the standings from 2017 to produce the world rankings.

For teams who did not compete in qualification for the World Championships, participation in other events, such as the Southeast Asian Games and Africa Cup, are taken into consideration.
