South Korea won the last two events at the World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series in Wuxi today, clinching top spot in the medal standings.

Bae Jun-seo beat fellow South Korean Lee Min-yeong 2-1 in the men's under-58 kilograms final, while Lee Da-bin defeated Great Britain's Bianca Walkden by the same scoreline in the women's over-67kg final.

Victory for the two reigning world champions means South Korea conclude the three days of competition at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Centre on a total of four gold medals.

The other four won were split between China, Croatia, Russia and Thailand.

In the men's under-58kg bronze-medal contest, China's Liang Yushuai overcame South Korea's Jung Chan-ho 3-1.

Also going the way of China was the women's over-67kg bronze medal, after Zheng Shuyin claimed a 2-1 win over the United States' Madelynn Gorman-Shore.

The 2019 edition was the third staging of the World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series.

The event first took place in 2017 and has been held in Wuxi every year.
