Ranked third in the world, Vietnam triumphed 2-0 against Indonesia at the converted Subic tennis court to top the five-team pool. 

The silver medal went to Thailand, who defeated the Philippines 2-0 and pushed them into the bronze-medal position. 

It rounded off a memorable Games for hosts the Philippines, who won a record-breaking 149 gold medals, with 386 medals in total. 

The Ceremony at New Clark City Athletics Stadium was a combination of entertainment and high-profile speakers.

It included the Manila Concert Choir serenading the thousands in attendance, before the athletes and team officials entered the venue and said their goodbyes. 

There were specific mentions for home athlete Roger Casugay for his fair play and swimmer Zheng Wen from Singapore as the Male Mega Athlete. 

Congressman and Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Tolentino expressed his elation at the success of the Games, while live music was provided by the Black Eyed Peas. 

A spectacle of lights and a choreographed drone show took to the skies before the final act of the ceremony.

Vietnam made a presentation as the next host of the SEA Games in 2021, before the flame of the 30th edition was extinguished.
