Italy's Alessio Foconi will be looking to claim victory at the International Fencing Federation (FIE) Men's Foil World Cup in German city Bonn, where action begins tomorrow.

The 2018 world champion is the top seed for the event at the Ville de Bonn.

The United States' Race Imboden is the second seed, while reigning world champion Enzo Lefort of France is the third seed.

Also featuring in the 261-strong field is Rio 2016 Olympic gold medallist Daniele Garozzo of Italy, the fourth seed.

Individual competition will be spread across tomorrow and Saturday (November 9).

It will be followed by the team competition on Sunday (November 10).

The event in Bonn is the first men's FIE World Cup of the season.

The opening women's stop took place in Estonia's capital Tallinn last weekend.
