Raneem El Welily of Egypt eased into the quarter-finals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Women's World Championship in Cairo.
Playing in front of the Pyramids of Giza, the top seed defeated Alison Waters of England 11-1, 11-3, 11-4.
El Welily is aiming to reclaim the world title she won in 2016.
"I’m pleased with the way I played," she said.
"I couldn’t have asked for a better performance today."
Her quarter-final opponent is set to be Nour El Tayeb, who recorded a 13-11, 11-5, 11-4 victory against fellow Egyptian Salma Hany.
Sarah-Jane Perry of England booked her place in the next round with a 11-7, 11-6, 11-5 win against Tesni Evans of Wales.
Egyptian fourth seed Nouran Gohan then set up a clash with Perry when she beat Tinne Gilis of Belgium 11-8, 11-3, 11-6.
The remaining four matches in the third round are scheduled for tomorrow.
