ElShorbagy leads the way in the men's standings after winning the first two events of the season, the China Open and the NetSuite Open in San Francisco.

The world number two has 5,310 points, with Farag second on 3,900.

NetSuite Open finalist Tarek Momen of Egypt sits in third on 2,250 points, with Open de France champion Paul Coll of New Zealand close behind on 1,900.

The remaining places in the men's standings are currently taken by Egypt’' Marwan ElShorbagy, Wales' Joel Makin, Colombia's Miguel Rodríguez and Germany's Simon Rösner.

US Open semi-finalist Diego Elias of Peru is just outside the top eight.

After reaching the final of the first three events, including taking the crown at the China Open, El Tayeb leads the way on the women's leaderboard, with 4,710 points.

She finds herself 10 points above world number one and fellow Egyptian Raneem El Welily, who triumphed at the NetSuite Open.

With her US Open victory, Gohar sits in third with 3,450 points.

France's Camille Serme is fourth with 3,025 points following her Open de France win.

American Amanda Sobhy, Egypt's Hania El Hammamy, England's Sarah-Jane Perry and New Zealand's Joelle King hold the remaining spots in the top eight of the women's leaderboard, with the likes of India's Joshna Chinappa, Wales' Tesni Evans and Egypt's Salma Hany all within 200 points of the qualification places.

The next PSA World Tour Platinum events will be the Women’s World Championship and the Egyptian Open, held simultaneously at the Pyramids in Giza between October 24 and November 1.
