The Beach Wrestling World Series finals came to a conclusion in Zagreb ©UWW

Levan Kelekhsashvili was crowned the men's 70 kilograms champion on the last day of the United World Wrestling Beach Wrestling World Series final in Zagreb.

The Georgian defeated Semen Radulov of Ukraine 4-2 in the gold medal match as American Michael Caleb Peters took bronze.

Peters lost to Kelekhsashvili in the semi-finals but bounced back to win 4-2 in the third place play-off against Miljan Dukanovic of Serbia.

Davit Khutsishvili won Georgia's second gold by clinching the men's 80kg title, beating Slovenian Timotej Trbulin 3-0 to earn a third consecutive victory.

A second win from three bouts saw Georgiois Koulouchidis of Greece collect silver, completing his campaign by defeating Serbian Aleksandar Nikolic 3-0.

Nikolic earned bronze courtesy of his victory against Trbulin yesterday.

With just two competitors in the women's over 70kg category, both wrestlers were guaranteed a medal.

Aikaterini Eirini Pitsiava of Greece won the gold medal match 2-1 against Iryna Pasichnyk of Ukraine, who was forced to settle for silver.

Brazilian Camila Fama Tristao secured the women's 60kg title by winning a third match from three.

Fama Tristao defeated Pia Kocbek of Slovakia 3-0 to top the rankings, with Valeriia Semonkina Zlatova of Ukraine earning silver.

She defeated Isabel Cristina Rodrigues 5-0 for a second win in three bouts, leaving the Portuguese in the bronze medal position.

In the women's 50kg contest, Ukrainian Kateryna Mashkevych won 2-0 against Kristal Kimberley Betanzo of the United States for gold as the American was forced to settle for silver.

Carmen Gomes Teixiera Vieira collected bronze despite losing to both Mashkevych and Betanzo yesterday.

Anna Mazurkevych claimed the women's 70kg title courtesy of a third victory from three bouts.

She had already won twice on day one and continued where she left off by defeating American Diana Mary Betanzo 3-0.

Betanzo finished with silver as Sonia Marina Pereira Brazio of Portugal claimed bronze with victory against Slovenian Sara Trbulin.
