Russia clinched a golden treble as Greco-Roman wrestling finals began at the United World Wrestling World Junior Wrestling Championships in Tallinn.

Anvar Allakhiarov won the 55 kilograms final to take the first gold of the day at Tondiraba Ice Hall.

He defeated Zaur Aliyev of Azerbaijan 9-4 in the final.

The bronze medals were claimed by Ken Matsui of Japan and Poya Soulat Dad Marz of Iran.

Abu Muslim Aptievitch Amaev secured a second gold for Russia with victory in the 63kg final.

Amaev got the better of Leri Abuladze from Georgia to win 5-3.

Iran's Shahin Eidi Badaghi Mofrad and American Alston Nutter completed the podium.

The Russian golden sweep continued as Ilia Ermolenko grabbed gold in a 2-0 victory against Georgia's Giorgi Katsanashvili.

The bronze medals were awarded to Bedirhan Tan of Turkey and Belarussian Ihar Yarashevich.

Russia's Damir Rakhimov had to settle for silver in the 77kg final.

He went down 2-1 in a tight match against gold medallist Mohammad Aziz Naghousi of Iran.

Dmytro Vasetskyi of Ukraine and indian Sajan Sajan won bronze medals in Tallinn.

In the closest battle of the night, Iran's Aliakbar Hossein Yousofiahmadchali won 2-1 against American Cohlton Michael Schultz to claim 130kg gold.

Hungarian Dariusz Attila Vitek and Muhammet Hamza Bakir from Turkey were the bronze medallists.

The World Championships conclude tomorrow with the remaining Greco Roman finals for 60kg, 67kg, 72kg, 82kg and 97kg wrestlers.
