The world short course champion over 400m set a World Cup record of 1min 45.74sec at the first leg of the series in Tokyo but was a second quicker at the OCBC Aquatic Centre, claiming gold in 1:44.38.

Australian Thomas Fraser-Holmes was second in 1:48.69, with Jiwen Cao of China third in 1:50.56.

After taking six victories in the pool yesterday, the Australian team claimed another four titles on the third and final day.

Three-time world champion Mitch Larkin followed up his 200m medley win by taking 100m backstroke glory in 53.47sec.

Michael Andrew of the United States finished second in 54.29 and Australian Tristan Jason Hollard earned bronze in 54.93.

Andrew triumphed in the 50m butterfly race as he held off Hungarian Szebasztián Szabó by 0.07 to clinch gold in 23.07.

Yauhen Tsurkin of Belarus won bronze in 23.74.

Fraser-Holmes surged clear to win the 400m medley race in 4:17.54 as China's Yihze Wang took silver.

Wang finished in 4:25.32 and Wilrich Coetzee of New Zealand completed the podium in 4:29.17.

Emily Seebohm of Australia, third in the overall series standings at the end of the second leg in Jinan, followed up yesterday's 100m backstroke victory by winning the 200m backstroke in 2:10.50.

Toto Kwan To Wong of Hong Kong was second in 2:15.79 as American Erica Sullivan took bronze in 2:17.78.

Sullivan claimed the 800m freestyle gold in 8:26.60 as Maddy Gough and Moesha Johnson finished second and third for Australia in 8:31.98 and 8:44.95, respectively.

Sullivan teamed up with Andrew, Breeja Larsson and Giles Smith to win the 4x100m medley relay in 3:52.17.

Australia came second in 3:53.09 and China took third in 3:58.43.
