Japan continued their domination of women's wrestling events on day five of the United World Wrestling (UWW) World Junior Championships in Tallinn.

Haruna Okuno was crowned the women's 53 kilograms champion after defeating Anudari Nandintsetseg of Mongolia 7-1 in the final.

The result at Tondiraba Ice Hall handed Okuno a fifth world title.

The bronze medals were awarded to Russian Mariia Tiumerekova and China's Meiduolaji Meiduolaji.

The women's 57kg world title was claimed by Akie Hanai, who beat Ukrainian Alina Akobia 9-0 in the gold medal match.

Nuraida Anarkulova of Kyrgyzstan and Magdalena Urszula Glodek of Poland took home bronze medals to complete the podium.

Japan's Yuzuka Inagaki earned the women's 62kg honours following a 3-1 triumph over China's Yaru Wu.

Canadian Ana Paula Godinez and Mariia Lachugina of Russia had to settle for bronze medals in the division.

A fourth Japanese gold was won by Miwa Morikawa after she edged a gripping 65kg final 2-1 against American Macey Kilty.

The bronze medallists were Wiktoria Choluj of Poland and China's Yue Zhang.

Yuka Kagami made it a clean sweep for Japan by winning the 72kg gold medal fight 10-6 against Russian Evgeniia Zakharchenko.

Shuiyan Cheng of China and Anastasiya Alpyeyeva of Ukraine won bronze medals.

The Greco Roman wrestling finals will begin tomorrow as the competition continues in Tallinn.
