The 57-year-old three-time Paralympic gold medallist added gold in the road race to her time trial victory.

Australian Cooke came home 17 seconds ahead of American Jill Walsh, with Jana Majunke of Germany in third - the same podium as the time trial.

Cooke was one of seven cyclists who earned their second gold of this World Cup event in Baie-Comeau, including Vincent Ter Schure and Lora Fachie in the visually impaired road race categories.

Dutchman Ter Schure won the men's B event as he defeated world ranking leader Marcin Polak of Poland for the second time at the event, with Ivano Pizzi of Italy third.

British rider Fachie took her second gold in the women's B category, with silver for New Zealand's Amanda Cameron and Greece's Eleni Kalatzi taking bronze.

China's Zeng Sini completed the women's C2 double, winning the road race ahead of Germany's Maike Hausberger and Christelle Ribault from France.

Spain's Ricardo Ten Argiles took his second gold in the men's C1, as did Britain's Finlay Graham in the men's C3 and Russian Sergei Pudov in the men's C4.

But there was no golden double for women's C3 time trial winner Keiko Sugiura of Japan as she came second in the road race behind Xiaomei Wang of China.

Maxi Jager of Germany also came second in the men's T1 road race having won the time trial, beaten by China's Jianxin Chen. 

Men's T2 time trial winner David Stone of Britain came third in the road race, won by Belgian rider Tim Celen.

Alexandre Leaute of France won the men's C2 race, while Lauro Mauro Chaman from Brazil triumphed in the men's C5.
