The 2019 International Swimming Federation (FINA) UltraMarathon Swim Series is due to resume tomorrow with an event in Lac Saint-Jean in Canada.

It will be the third leg of the year following two in Argentina in February, in Santa Fe and Rosario.

The competition, open to men and women, will take place over a distance of 32 kilometres in Roberval on the south-western shore of Lac Saint-Jean.

It will start at Péribonka’s municipal wharf and end at the municipal wharf in Roberval.

The organisers are La Traversée internationale du lac Saint-Jean.

A further three legs are scheduled to be held as part of the 2019 FINA UltraMarathon Swim Series.

The next is in Ohrid in North Macedonia on August 24.

It will be followed by stops in Novi in Croatia on August 31 and either Capri or Naples in Italy on September 7.
