Czech Republic have been crowned winners of the Men's Under-19 World Floorball Championships after beating Sweden 8-2 in the final in Halifax in Canada.

Josef Juha and Filip Langer both bagged braces for the Czechs, while Jonas Kreysa, Daniel Eremias, Matyas Sindler and Patrik Sebek chipped in with one apiece at Zatzman Sportsplex.

Filip Eriksson and Victor Wettergren scored for five-time champions Sweden, who had to settle for a repeat of their runner-up effort in 2017.

Defending champions Finland secured a third-place finish by defeating Switzerland 4-2.

Aapo Makela, Tuukka Haudanlampi, Markus Salmi and Kaapo Siekkinen got their names on the scoresheet for the Finns.

Replying for Switzerland were Yannis Wyss and Moritz Markwalder.

Elsewhere, Germany overcame Slovenia 9-3 in the B-division final.

It means they will be promoted to the top two groups for 2021.
