India won gold in the 10 metre air rifle and air pistol mixed finals at the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF) Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Beijing.

Anjum Moudgil and Divyaansh Singh Panwar were successful in a closely-fought air rifle final, defeating China's Ruxuan Liu and Haoran Yang 17-15 at Beijing Shooting Range Hall.

Russia’s Yulia Karimova and Grigorii Shamakov earned bronze.

The podium remained the same – in terms of countries – for the air pistol event, with Manu Bhaker and Chaudhary Saurabh taking gold for India.

They beat China’s Ranxin Jiang and Wei Pang in the final, with Russia's Vitalina Batsarashkina and Artem Chernousov third.

The competition continues tomorrow with the men's 10 metre air rifle final and the 25m rapid fire pistol event.
