The 17-year-old won her first X Games medal yesterday, earning silver in the snowboard big air.

She did better today, winning gold in the slopestyle with a score of 91.00.

In second was American Hailey Langland with 90.66, while Enni Rukajärvi of Finland finished in third with 84.66 points.

Mark McMorris of Canada won the men's slopestyle, achieving his 17th X Games medal after recording a score of 96.00.

He is only one medal away from equaling the record for most Winter X Games medals won, currently held by legendary American snowboarder Shaun White. 

Finland's Rene Rinnekangas scored 94.00 to come second, while Norway's Mons Røisland finished third with 91.33. 

Eighteen-year old Chloe Kim won her fifth X Games medal in the women's snowboard superpipe, scoring 84.00 points to do so.

She beat Spain's Queralt Castellet with 80.00 points and China's Cai Xuetong with 72.66 points.

Norway's Birk Ruud triumphed in the men's ski big air with a score of 89.00, with Canada's Alex Beaulieu-Marchand second on 87.00 and Britain's James Woods finishing third on 82.00 points. 

Today also saw the Winter X Games debut of the snowboard knuckle huck event.

Norway's Fridtjof Sæther Tischendorf won this with 100 points. 

Action in Aspen will conclude tomorrow with the men's ski slopestyle final and snowboard superpipe final.
