She made it into the final with a 15-10 victory over Italy’s Olympic silver medallist Arianna Errigo, while Ebert made it into the gold medal match with a 15-12 win over Lee Kiefer from the United States.
Over in Paris, a FIE Men’s Foil World Cup finished at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, with Italy’s Alessio Foconi taking the win.
The 2018 double world champion took the win with a 15-12 victory over Gerek Meinhardt from the United States, who won team Olympic bronze in 2016.
That competition began with a full draw of 356 fencers.
