Taekwondo Canada has teamed up with Captain Sports Martial Arts for all kyorugi and poomsae scoring services and technology.

The deal covers the 2019 Canadian National Taekwondo Championships scheduled for between January 10 and 12, 2019 in Quebec City.

Captain Sports will operate the newest version of the KPNP PSS system in up to six rings at the premier domestic taekwondo competition in Canada.

In addition, it will provide E-Chest Protectors, E-Head Gear, receivers and judge boxes.

Poomsae events will also be scored by Captain Sports' most up-to-date World Taekwondo-approved KPNP Poomsae scoring system.

"Taekwondo Canada has a longstanding relationship with Captain Sports that has provided world class scoring at each of our major taekwondo events in Canada," said Carla Anderson, executive director at Taekwondo Canada.

"It is a tremendous benefit to have them back in the ring with us at the 2019 National Championships to ensure all kyorugi matches and poomsae competitions are scored fairly and accurately."

Captain Sports Martial Arts will have a sales booth available throughout the Canadian National Championships.

Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to purchase taekwondo equipment.
