Australia beat Thailand today to make it two wins out of two at the inaugural International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) Asia-Oceania Championships on the island of Kish in Iran.

Having thrashed South Korea 11-0 in their opening game on Saturday (November 24), the Australians registered a 3-0 victory at the Kish Island Olympic Stadium.

The result moves them onto six points and condemns Thailand to a second-consecutive defeat following their 7-1 loss to Iran.

Today's other match saw Jordan begin their campaign by overcoming South Korea 5-2.

Action is due to continue tomorrow with South Korea facing Thailand and Iran going up against Jordan.

Both matches had been scheduled to take place yesterday but were postponed due to heavy rainfall and lightning.
