Sean Rice of South Africa and Angie Le Roux of France won the ninth edition of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Breizh Ocean Race in Locmariaquer to Quiberon in France. 

Rice won the men's event in 1 hour 09min 35sec, with Gordan Harbrecht of Germany coming in second with 1:10:06.44 in an event part of the  ICF Ocean Racing World Cup.

French canoeist Valentin Henot completed the podium, finishing third with a time of 1:10:49.17.

In the women's event Le Roux was victorious in 1:20:25.69.

Lea Caurant of France secured second place with a time of 1:23:03.73, while Amaia Osaba of Spain got third place in 1:23:45.29.

This was the third event of year following events in Mauritius and Viana do Castelo in Portugal.
